Dear Zarya,
I may be going away for a while. To my understanding, you'll be getting control of my body while I'm gone. I don't know what kind of state you're going to be in. If it's difficult for you, I'm sorry. But this is a choice I felt I had to make. I hate to be asking you a favor right as I'm thrusting you into an unpredictable situation, but I'm going to be including some notes on each of my teammates. I know you've probably observed them yourself a good deal through my eyes, but. Here's a bit of extra context, I suppose? Please just look after them, for me. I don't know what kind of state they're going to be in.

- Akira Kurusu:
He's the young Japanese boy. I make fun of him for being a minor, but he's more mature than most adults, frankly. He has a good head on his shoulders. I've come to think it's become a bit of an unspoken rule on Echidna between the adults that we're all to keep an eye on him and make sure he's as okay as one can be, here. If everybody's going to forget about that...please, just keep an eye on him. He's the one I'm most concerned about. If you spot him drinking alcohol, make a big deal about how he shouldn't, then let him drink it behind your back. Teenagers like it when they think they've gotten away with something like that. Also, he likes to have his ears scratched. Claims to be a phantom thief.

Fran is the cat possessing him. I thought Fran was just a prick, but he actually seems to give a bit of a shit about us, possibly? I've just committed to making fun of him and getting on his nerves, so try that. Seems to be working! (If the cat comes near me, I'm going to bite it. - Z)

- Jiang Yanli:
I think she's a bit younger than me? Either way, a very sweet girl. Makes way too much tea when she's nervous? Once put a blanket on me when I passed out BECAUSE OF YOU, you nocturnal nuisance (It's not my fault you humans are built inefficiently. Night is better for hunting. - Z). The type to give themselves to everybody, I'm fairly certain and not just everybody on Echidna. People like that always tend overestimate what they're capable of and burn themselves out because they're too busy caring for everyone else and don't spare any care for themselves. Sadly, I'm just too great at caring for myself, so I can't relate. Anyway, if she's overdoing it, just give her a bit of help, I suppose. The more I write here, the more I'm realizing she's actually quite appealing. Perhaps I should try to get a date with her... (Why are you expending effort to include things like this. Wasn't time a concern when you wrote this? - Z)

- Shark / Skadi / Captain:
The fishes. They're a trio of people all from the same world. Apparently they're all friends and apparently their monsters are really serious business. Logically, I think the terms of this deal will make them all forget each other and it seems like they all have some level of codependence with each other that might be lost now and since they're all cute girls, normally I'd be right in there, but alas. I'm going to be dead, so I can't. (I'm going to hope this sounded less predatory in your head.... - Z) Just from eavesdropping and picking up what bits of context I can, I think they're hunters of some kind? So, see if you have something in common with them there.

- Shark seems to be the most talkative and if I'm biased, I must say, the most fun. She initially offered to put herself to sleep. I offered to kiss her back awake and she seemed receptive. I think I have a shot with her. (Please stop including these details as though I'm going to do anything with them. Please. - Z)
- Skadi appears to be the sensitive one. Shark said she's good in a fight, but also a softie. I can kind of see what she was talking about. If she's having a hard time, I'm led to believe stories, art, music, swimming and cuddling are all good remedies.
- Captain is the only one in the trio I haven't spoken to. But Shark said she would keep herself together no matter what. She said it in a bit of an ominous way, so maybe check in on her nonetheless.

- Rean Schawrzer:
Haven't spoken to him yet. But I don't think he's giving up his memories, so hopefully things will be fine. He is hot, though, so maybe I should put some more effort in... (You're doing it again. - Z)

- Kleken:
Also a fish? Doesn't seem related to the other three fishes, though. Another one I haven't met. Asks a lot of leading questions. I haven't figured out if that's endearingly mysterious or just annoying, yet. He provides alcohol, which I have decided is my favorite trait about him, so if you want booze, find him. He's also not giving up his memories, I think, so he's another one who should hopefully be fine.

- Kim Dokja:
I think he's the same age as me. I feel a strange kinship with him whenever we discuss media, but also, I feel a need to constantly needle and trifle with him, because it's really funny. He lent me a book he likes. Do not read it under any circumstances, it is so fucking boring, I have reason to believe it's eating away at the calcium in my bones. But also don't make fun of it to his face. He seems mostly capable of handling himself, but he's also very concerned about Sphinx and Tsuchigumo, presumably because he's in a relationship with the fictional character on Sphinx? I'm....fairly certain he was preparing himself for the possibility that Sphinx was in danger in a way that had more to do with us than them. So. Be wary of that / support him with that if need be? I'm not sure. He's a hard guy to figure out.

Oh yeah, his monster is an Outer God. I think it may be an Umbral. So. If things are really bad, ask his monster for help, I suppose? He indicated that it's handled some rough customers in its time, anyway.

- Helena:
An assassin! She seems nice. Most of our conversations have been short so far, but I assume you have to become pretty self-sufficient to become a zombie, so she'll probably be able to handle herself. One concern is that she mentioned her monster is a zombie. A zombie can mean a lot of things, but most of them would be....very very bad to have running around. Please try to keep her monster from controlling her. She mentioned she's not feeling any putrefaction or thirst for flesh yet, so. That is good. I don't know. Bond over being assassins with her. (You have strange ideas about what constitutes "bonding". - Z)

- Geto:
Another one I haven't spoken to much. But his body is filled to the brim with cursed spirits, which is at once kind of terrifying if you actually stare at them for too long and extremely interesting. After this, I need to find some way to get him to let me examine them...but, yes, seriously scary energy coming off of him and I have absolutely no idea what might set it off! So. Keep an eye on that, suppose. A lot of this is just me telling you to keep an eye on people. I imagine that's probably not especially useful direction. (At least you realized it. - Z) Just be wary! I don't know how all of this is going to effect everybody. This is uncharted territory.

...I'm preparing a spell that will hopefully do something. Best case scenario, I just wasted a lot of time writing all of this and everybody is patting me on the back right now and assuring me, "Yes, Nessa, you truly are a great witch! Let us sing to you and hug you and give you presents. Also, we're sorry for doubting you and saying rude things about your report, which is a great use of your time!"

Haaaa. I'm writing silly things because I'm nervous now. I shouldn't worry. It's going to be fine. I'll talk to you when it's all over.
