[Nessa arrives in the empty RESTRICTED MATERIALS room shortly after Tsumugi does. She lightly adjusts her collar and takes a slow breath. Seems like she's still recovering from the Voidheart being damaged.]
[.... Nessa starts to open her mouth, clearly to express some trepidation about the request and Tsumugi's awkwardness over it, but she stops and does as requested, closing the door and moving away from it.]
Danganronpa was a series of anime and video games which I grew up liking. It was turned into a reality TV show and I was the mastermind behind the last game. It started off completely fictional, but by my era, the deaths and situations were very real.
You're Tsumugi's Doppelganger, aren't you? Or -- her shadow, again? You're just trying to sabotage her, like you were last time!
[She's getting up in Tsumugi's face and grabbing her collar. Her breath is getting more labored from the quick physical action and from what's pretty clearly a rising level of anxiety.]
I don't believe it, you hear me? I don't believe it.
Tsumugi is my friend. My friend doesn't run killing games. My friend isn't a killer.
The 'me' who would've kept her head down and never said anything is... changing. As much as I can I'm trying to make amends and take responsibility.
And you're not the only one who knows. --Quite a few people know.
So, I had to put my heart out there one last time... because... thinking "I had this one great friend, Nessa, but I had to lock my heart behind a wall and never let her see the real me otherwise she would've hated me... I had to let her only see a false me instead..."
[Nessa bites down on her lip. She's so angry and so emotional. A voice in her head tells her, don't say what you're about to say. Don't say it. Just walk away if you have to, don't say this next part--]
Killing people just for your own enjoyment, just makes you just like Typhon -- just like Esmau!
[She shoves Tsumugi away. Her face feels hot, tears are already forming and falling.]
I could never consider someone like that my friend!

So...is everything alright?
no subject
[right, it's just Tsumugi, no cosplay.]
Can you shut the door? Then... step away from it?
no subject
Alright.

...
[she starts trembling like a leaf all over.]
I did it.

Did what?

[catches her breath.]
...I...
[she mumbles]

I'm sorry, I was just trying to. Lighten things a bit.
I'm listening. Tell me.

[one last pause]
...I ran the killing game.

What're you talking abou--

She remembers standing behind the podium and her eyes slowly go wide.]
What.

No.
[She shakes her head once.]
Dangan Ronpa isn't real.
It's just something I saw in a dream.

Stop messing around, Tsumugi.
Is this some kind of cosplay? You're not even wearing a costume right now.
no subject
That's the truth.

[Nessa's eyes suddenly narrow.]
You're Tsumugi's Doppelganger, aren't you? Or -- her shadow, again? You're just trying to sabotage her, like you were last time!

[It's...not clear who she's trying to convince.]

But it won't hold the same weight for you. The people in it are strangers and you won't have seen the ways many others died first.
no subject
[Nessa's head ducks down.]
Why are you telling me this? If you're not trying to make me hate Tsumugi, why would you tell me this?

[She sighs.]

... I couldn't live with that. I'm sorry.

If you've seen as much of my Heart as you seem to have, then... ..
[One of her hands slides off of Tsumugi's collar.]
Why would you think I would want to be friends with somebody involved in a game like that?
no subject
I...
